Yesterday was a big event in Crawley. Buzbys Winter Wonderland, a Christmas Fair organised to raise money for an operation to help Buzby walk. Buzby is a little boy who lives in Crawley, he has quadraplegic cerebral palsy, it means he cannot walk, finds it difficult to sit and play with his toys and he cannot run around with his friends! He needs an operation in America to help him walk, an operation he cannot have here.
I attended along with lots of other local businesses to support the fundraising and build awareness of Sensory Adventure. I had such a great day. The atmosphere was fantastic and eveyone was so generous with donations. I cant wait to find out the grand total of the event. Fingers crossed it raised lots! Ill keep you posted!
I have asked Buzbys mum for a fundraising bucket to have at our sessions each week. Ill put the bucket out and if you have any loose change it would be gratefully recieved. All money will go directly to Buzby for his operation.
You'll see a bucket at our Christmas Party too.
I also put up one of our popular tough spots at Buzbys Winter Wonderland. It was quite fitting actually as this week I have Winter Week planned so I decided to do a sneak peak of that at Buzbys Wonderland. The children LOVED IT!
I cant wait for Tuesday, I really do love our classes!
I took 20 tubs of Sensory Adventure slimes and putty to sell too. I sold out within 45 mimutes!!
If you would like to order some for Christmas just email us!
I hope you will join me and help raise more for Buzby!
See you all Tuesday at our cosy barn!
