A sneak peek inside our sensory dark den. Whilst preparing for our launch day on Monday I decided to do a trial run with a lot of the equipment id purchased to make sure it was up to standard. Not at all because I wanted to play. Ah-hem.
So I asked my boys if they wanted to help me build a giant tent with lots of lights and of course they couldnt wait! Im not sure I really anticipated quite how unhelpful a 3 year old and a 4 year old would be at tent building. I certainly didnt foresee them stealing the poles to use as weapons to defeat eachother in my kitchen. Thank goodness Nanna was on hand to help. Referee!
Once the Dark Den was built and we had removed the boys from the inside 32,576 times so that we could ensure we had done it correctly, we were good to go!
I have quite a few light options for the den as well as handheld lights and a lovely wipe clean padded floor.....
Once I had tested out everything I had it was time to pack it all away.
I certainly got the tent down a lot quicker than I got it up!!
